• Keep the removed filler panels and screws for future use.

• H3C recommends that you install filler panels in all empty slots to prevent dust from enterin

the firewall

Installing a filler panel

This section takes the filler panel for an interface module slot as an example.

To install a filler panel:

1. Face the front panel of the firewall.

2. Cover the filler panel on the slot with the EMI gaskets side facing upward.

3. Fasten the captive screws with a Phillips screwdriver.
