Powering on the firewall

Checking before power-on

ARNING!

Locate the emergency power-off switch in the room before power-on so you can quickly shut power off

hen an electrical accident occurs.

Before powering on the firewall, verify that:

• The power cord and grounding cable are properly connected.

• The input power voltage is as required.

• The console cable is properly connected, the terminal or PC used for configuration has started, and

the configuration parameters have been correctly set.

• The interface card (if any) is correctly installed.

Powering on the firewall

1. Switch on the power source of the firewall.

2. Switch on the AC or DC power module.
